About Us
LNFVB (Leave No Female Veteran Behind) was founded in October 2012, and incorporated in September 2016. LNFVB is a faith-based nonprofit, community-focused organization that provides permanent housing for Female Veterans in the Florida area, beginning in Sarasota. LNFVB addresses issues pertinent to the needs of Female Veterans as a whole. LNFVB is currently headquartered in Sarasota, Florida, and will have offices strategically located throughout the United States.
Our mission is to help end homelessness and being at risk of homelessness among Female Veterans. We will partner with organizations to provide other resources to meet the needs of our Sheroes.
To help provide permanent housing for our Female Veterans.
The organization is to provide services through Biblical principles that will enable the Female Veterans to become self-sufficient. Community-empowerment and self-determination will be developed through the following programs: trained entrepreneurship, wellness education, job skills and the marketing of these skills, and programs to address other needs that may arise. Assisted programs are incorporated into one master project centered on meeting the needs of Sheroes while partnering with established local organizations.
The programs within LNFVB will be implemented by a well-trained staff, along with partner organizations; providing services to empower Female Veterans from all walks of life. Our programs will become available to the entire state of Florida and other areas throughout the United States without bias. We will establish target areas in Sarasota. From there we hope to influence the entire state of Florida and strategic areas throughout the United States with our services and programs.
